Each project in this section is a real garden in Melbourne’s inner South East or Bayside — photographed as we found it, and as we left it. Some are full transformations: overgrown, tired gardens brought back to a healthy, beautiful baseline in a single concentrated project. Others show what consistent, seasonal care achieves over time — the quieter transformation that happens visit by visit.
We share them for two reasons. If you’re weighing up whether your own garden can come back from where it’s gotten to, the answer is almost certainly in here somewhere — you’ll likely find a garden that looked just like yours. And if you’re wondering what to expect from us, nothing we could write says it better than the photographs.
